Melbourne’s best pizzerias are swapping the kitchen for the bowling green in a one-day championship at Fitzroy Bowls Club. Leonardo’s Pizza Palace, Freddy’s, Takeaway Pizza, Pizza Elettrica and Bill & Ellie’s will each field a bowls team and create one exclusive signature pizza for the day.

It’s a proper Sunday session at the local bowlo. Take your pick from the line-up, grab a cold drink from the Fitzroy Bowls Club bar and settle in by the green as the pizza crews go head to head.

Fancy your chances? Pick up a bowl and roll your way to bragging rights.
