The return of Epic Brass! After a long hiatus, Jack Howard’s mighty Epic Brass show returns to its spiritual home, Memo Music Hall. Jack is joined on stage by a cavalcade of guest singers plus a killer horn section and band to celebrate the great horn hits and hidden gems of Australian rock – from Hunters and Collectors and the Oils to The Saints, Laughing Clowns and Painters And Dockers, the show features an incredible set list of killer Australian brass tunes.

Jack played trumpet with Hunters and Collectors and wrote and arranged most of the band’s iconic horn lines. Along the way, he’s also played with The Violent Femmes, Rodriguez, You Am I, The Living End and a host of others. Throughout 2017, Jack toured the world with Midnight Oil as their trumpeter/keyboard player/percussionist.

In breaking news, Jack Howard’s Epic Brass cavalcade will be joined by the wonderful Dave Graney AND Clare Moore, the sensational Kim Salmon (Beasts Of Bourbon, The Scientists) and one of Australia’s great rock vocalists, Dave Larkin from Dallas Crane at their upcoming Memo show on Sunday Feb 22nd. They’ll join the regular EB legends – Paulie Stewart (Painter and Dockers), Fiona Lee Maynard and Helen Cattanach from Moler, alongside the incredible EB band and horn section – with new songs and new takes on “the great horn hits and hidden gems of Australian music.” Better be there.
