Sitting in the historic Edinburgh Gardens, the Fitzroy Victoria Bowling & Sports Club has experienced a renaissance in recent years both as a part of the local community and as a bowling club.The "new" Club, formed in 2000, is an amalgamation of the Fitzroy Bowling Club (formed 1877), the Victoria Bowling Club (formed 1876) and the Edinburgh Park Ladies Club (formed in 1947).
Since the amalgamation the club has not looked back and now fields 4 Pennant teams, has 2 synthetic greens and facilities that are the envy of many.
The club is open 7 days a week and, with facilities and the greens for hire for both corporate and social events, it is a hive of activity most days and nights.
The bowling club is in the City of Yarra council's Edinburgh Gardens Sporting precinct.
How to Find Us
The club is located on Brunswick St next to the Edinburgh Gardens. If you catch the 112 tram, Stop 20 will put you right outside the gate.
When We're Open
The club is open every day of the week most days of the year except Christmas Day and selected other public holidays.
Standard Operating Hours
Monday to Friday: From 12 noon
Saturday: From 10am
Sundays: From 11am.
The club is open at other times “By arrangement” and subject to bookings.
